Meet Our Pharmacists
Sandra Fernandez, RPh, PharmD
Pharmacy is Sandra’s great love! After interning at Mandell’s Pharmacy, she graduated from Rutgers University in 2004 and joined the staff. When she realized how much she loved working in the specialty pharmacy field, she let all other career options go. Sandra finds her work highly satisfying and prides herself on making a difference in people’s lives. She says that happiness is when you find something you love to do and can get paid for it!
Admitting that she’s a workaholic who still manages to find some downtime, Sandra spends her spare time with family and friends. She enjoys meeting new people and learning about new things.
Maria Lorenzo, RPh, PharmD
Maria graduated from Rutgers University in 2008 with a Doctorate in Pharmacy. She began working at Mandell’s Clinical Pharmacy right after graduation. While still a student, she had worked at Mandell's as a pharmacy technician and realized that she loved helping couples achieve their dream of conceiving a child.
Maria loves when patients bring in their babies to introduce them to the staff. "It makes me feel like I was a part of that magic."
In her spare time she enjoys live music, fine dining, traveling, running and spending as much time as possible with family and friends.
Kim Folkenflik, RPh, PharmD.
Kim is the latest addition to our staff of Doctors in Pharmacy. She graduated Rutgers in 2010 and immediately joined the staff at Mandell's Clinical Pharmacy. Kim enjoys speaking to patients and helping ease their concerns. "What I love is working in a pharmacy where I can focus on the needs of my patient instead of how many prescriptions we filled."
In her spare time she enjoys the theater, movies, traveling, reading and quality time with family and friends.
Meet our Coordinators
Risha Shah – IVF Coordinator Supervisor
Risha began working for Mandell's part time while still in college. Even though she was here only a few days a week, she realized how much she enjoyed helping patients and how rewarding it felt. After graduating, Terry and Eddie offered her a full-time position to work as an IVF coordinator and she gladly accepted.
She found the environment at Mandell's to be very friendly and customer service oriented. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her husband, reading, watching movies and trying out new recipes.
Jennifer Gustavson, CPhT, IVF Coordinator
Jennifer, her husband of 15 years, and their children moved to New Jersey from Texas in 2005. She has enjoyed 19 years in pharmacy and became a Certified Pharmacy Technician in 2000.
Jennifer loves being a mother and spending time with her 2 daughters and son. She feels everyone should have the opportunity of becoming parents and knows that, in a small way, she takes part in helping others have children.
Sara McCrobie, IVF Coordinator
Sara first joined the Mandell's staff in 2009 and began in the shipping department. She was then placed in reception and finally trained as an IVF Coordinator. Sara has a natural ability to communicate with patients and insurance companies. Her compassion and dedication is often referred to in our satisfaction surveys where she is highly praised for her customer service skills.
Sara enjoys spending time with family and friends at the shore. We call her our "little Martha Stewart" because of her flair and talent in Martha Stewart type activities. But fear not, she owns no stocks.
Jessica Bartus, IVF Coordinator, CPT
Jessica recently joined the staff at Mandell's and quickly became part of our family. She became a Certified Pharmacy Technician in March of 2000 and had worked in retail and hospital settings since 1999.

Susan Giesler, IVF Coordinator
Susan G joined our staff in 2007. She had 14 years experience working in a large IVF practice and brought her knowledge and expertise to our pharmacy. She trained very quickly and efficiently as an IVF coordinator and enjoys daily communication with families who wish to conceive. "I feel that I personally understand what our patients are going through and it's my pleasure to facilitate this process as much as I can for our patients. I love when patients call me after their babies are born to share their good news, but I especially love when they send me pictures, or bring their baby in to meet us!"
Susan enjoys spending her precious time with her beautiful daughters, family and friends. Her daughters and work keeps her so busy that she doesn't have time for hobbies, but would not have it any other way!
Naomi Etienne, IVF Coordinator, CPT
Naomi joined the staff at Mandell's in 2011. She is a Certified Pharmacy Technician who was working in a retail pharmacy but realized she wanted to do something with more meaning and where she could directly affect patient outcomes. " Helping to build families seemed like such a beautiful opportunity to fill my desire to help others."
Naomi enjoys singing lessons, dancing, watching inspiring movies, reading great books, writing and good music. She enjoys fine food and her favorite food is a canoli!
Meet Our Donor Team
Karen Molnar, LPN, Donor IVF Coordinator
Karen has been at with us since 2007 and enjoys working at Mandell's and helping patients with their medical questions. At that time, she was new to the field of IVF and has since become completely knowledgeable in all aspects of infertility. She loves the challenges and rewards this opportunity has provided her and she enjoys teaching injection classes and hands on patient interaction. "I enjoy working for a company where our business is helping people every day.
In her spare time she spends time with her husband, family, friends and their pet iguana, Iggy. Her hobbies include painting photography and scrap booking.
Alex Malinowski, IVF Coordinator
Alex is a graduate of Rutgers University. She entered the healthcare field with Mandell's guidance in the summer of 2010. "Since then, I cannot imagine working in any other field!"
Originally from North Jersey, Alex enjoys heading that way with her fiance and spending time there with friends and family.
Meet our Outtake Coordinators
Lourdes Torres
Lourdes joined Mandell's Pharmacy in October of 2010 and instantly fell in love with the staff and patients. "I have worked previously at a pediatrics office but the experience with Mandell's was greater. Every day here there is something new to learn. I love interacting with our patients and it is a pleasure to be a part of their experience!"
Lourdes enjoys spending time with her son and family. She loves to read good books, cooking and baking, and she loves to crochet.
Interdepartmental Liaison
Elizabeth Martinez
Elizabeth joined the Mandell's team in 2005 and has experience working in various departments including reception, shipping and out-take coordinating. She is jovial and a pleasure to work with. She is quiet with a great sense of humor.
"I find fulfillment in helping others reach their goals and assisting in any way possible to achieve a smooth and successful outcome." She loves music and is a New York Yankees fan. She likes to watch baseball and play video games with her fiance in her spare time.

Annemarie Appel, Infertility Sales Specialist
Annemarie has 20 years of pharmaceutical specialty sales and has worked for major pharmaceutical companies. She joined the staff at Mandell’s in 2006 to experience a new avenue of specialty sales and to be directly involved with the patient experience.
Annemarie enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 3 beautiful boys. Their close-knit family enjoys skiing and vacationing together.
Olimpia Sabol, RNC,BSN- Infertility Sales Specialist, RN
Olimpia graduated with high honors from Helene Fuld School of Nursing in 1996 and went on to complete her BSN at the Unirvrsity of Delaware where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She began her nursing career on a medical-surgical unit but always knew her passion was maternal-child health. Olimpia was thrilled to proceed on to labor and delivery and met her ultimate clinical goal when she began her position as an infertility nurse. Olimpia proudly joined the Mandell's family in 2009 after several years of firsthand experience with their expert pharmacy services. "It was always a pleasure for me to refer my patients to Mandell's Pharmacy." Olimpia was excited about the opportunity to expand her career representing Mandell's in the Philadelphia area and Maryland. "I have met so many wonderful infertility nurses and it is truly rewarding when they express how easy Mandell's has made their day!
Olimpia is a wife and mother to three beautiful daughters and loves to spend her free time running and at the beach. She looks forward to exploring more of the treasures in the city of Philadelphia and getting back to world wide traveling.
Tammy Joyce, Infertility Sales Representative, RN
Tammy is a licensed nurse by trade and joined our team in 2009. Before coming to Mandell's she worked for Columbia Pharmaceuticals where she enjoyed a very successful career. She has 17 years experience in sales. Wishing to try a different venue, she agreed to join our staff and has since dedicated herself to providing excellent service to our clients. If you have ever met her, you would agree that her cheerful, bright disposition makes her a most likeable asset and a privilege to work with.
Tammy values spending time with her son and loves decorating, cooking and homemaking, as well as painting, hiking and healthy eating. Her other passions are her sheltie, Sam and dachshund, Louie
Steven Adair, Infertility Sales Specialist
Steven is the newest addition to our sales team. He has extensive experience in infertility pharmaceutical sales and has made a seamless transmission to pharmacy sales. He is a very dedicated representative for our clients and is always willing to step in and save the day.
Steven enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. LOVES cooking gourmet meals and enjoying outdoor activities with his family.
